Key features: A large swale was installed to not only serve numerous functions as a swale but also act as a river barrier to mitigate a river overflow during the monsoons.


This project was a first in central India for Ananas. The 14 acre land adjoins Pench National Park which is famous for Mahua and Tigers. The site adjoins the southern tip of Pench national Park and is situated along the banks of a seasonal river.There had been numerous sighitngs of Leopards, tigers around the site as well as Wild boars in the site. The client wanted to adapt regenrative principles on the landscape to preserve the native flora and intercrop the current orange and lemon orchards. One of the goals was to set an example of a regenerative farm for the neighbours and well as hosting school day trips.
