Our work is dependent on the seasons and the climate of the land. Here’s how our services typically align with the seasons:

Planning Ahead
If you’re considering implementation work, please plan to reach out at least 2–3 months in advance. For example, to schedule earthworks or planting in March, we recommend contacting us by December or January.
If your design engagement concludes close to an ideal implementation season, please note that we require a minimum of 1–2 months to plan and schedule the next phase.
Design and implementation are treated as separate engagements. Completing a design with us does not automatically guarantee priority scheduling for implementation, as ongoing projects and seasonal demands may affect availability.

In the case of a design made by others:
It is not unusual for us to be brought designs created by the clients themselves or by other designers to vet or to directly implement.
In the case of other designers, as a matter of respect for their work, we choose not to assess any aspect of their design unless the person/firm/organisation provides their consent for us to do so, and until they've had a chance to present their design to us themselves.
Nowadays, more often than not, the designs brought to us have been generated by AI models.
Along with our team’s combined 75 years of experience in whole systems design, we are guided by our on-ground process of studying, designing and implementing over 160 projects spanning 600+ hectares of land in varied climates, contexts and ecologies.
The work we do is often slow and considered, and is the direct result of being in direct contact with the land and its custodians. Hence, it is not possible for us to vet or implement any design brought to us (be it made by another human or by AI) before going through our design process first.
